Conference theme: “the shape of things to come?

Synopsis:

Today is tomorrow yesterday. This simple statement in many ways appears to be where we are today with some of the disciplinary issues. Many of the issues we have discussed over the last 10 Conferences are coming back into focus whilst at the same time we have new approaches and influences to consider.

New tiers of regulation; a boost for consumers; financial pressures; legislation both new and outdated are just a few of the pressures for the world of discipline. We will at this Conference be looking at these subjects, benefiting from the Scottish experience which increasingly seems to show the shape of things to come for England whilst discussing the increased use of Human Rights issues and practical data problems.
